Monitor bracket compatibility between Artemis generations: yoke rod width changes and retrofit kit availability

Note (as of October 2026)Curt O. Schaller, the developer of Artemis and Trinity, has no longer been with ARRI since the end of 2025. To our knowledge, ARRI currently has no dedicated team and no official contact persons for its stabilizer systems. In our view, the future of this line is uncertain. If you are buying new, get written confirmation from ARRI beforehand on how long service and spare parts are guaranteed. Have used rigs checked by the manufacturer before you buy.

What the thread found

  • The SM7 yoke (K2.0051225) is compatible only with monitor brackets manufactured after 2022.
  • Artemis rigs changed the width of yoke rods between generations.
  • The measurement between the centre of yoke rods on Gen 2 brackets is approximately 10.5 cm.
  • A retrofit kit is available to adapt monitor brackets manufactured before 2022 to the new wider yoke rod distance.
  • Users report the SM7 monitor is water-resistant, weighs approximately 400 grams less than comparable competitive models, and includes extensive onscreen functions including a zenith level indicator.

Depends on

  • Compatibility depends on bracket manufacturing year or model generation; measurement data provided are from one user's equipment.
  • Retrofit kit availability and specifications not detailed.
